Voter Information Pamphlets Sent To Over 2M San Diego County Voters

SAN DIEGO, CA — Voter information pamphlets are being mailed to more than 2 million registered voters in San Diego County ahead of the Nov. 3 gubernatorial general election, according to the county Registrar of Voters.

The pamphlets include voting options, election deadlines, official ballot drop box and vote center locations, candidate statements, ballot measures and a sample ballot.

Ballots will begin arriving the week of Oct. 5, giving voters nearly a month to complete and return them. Every active registered voter in the county will receive a ballot by mail.

Voters can return ballots by mail without postage, at an official ballot drop box or at any vote center. Drop boxes will be available beginning Oct. 4 and remain open through Election Day.

In-person voting begins Oct. 5 at the Registrar of Voters office at 5600 Overland Ave. in Kearny Mesa. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Select vote centers will open Oct. 24, with all locations opening Oct. 31. Vote centers will operate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. before Election Day. On Nov. 3, all vote centers, ballot drop boxes and the Registrar's office will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Voters who signed up for electronic delivery of their voter information pamphlet should have already received an email with a link to it. Others can sign up to receive future pamphlets electronically.
