Let's Go Lesbians! is Safe Words' October queer comedy showcase at the Eagle: a sapphic, Lesbian lineup built around sharp, personal, and unapologetically queer stand-up. Jenny Chalikian headlines, and Tanna Samone Hall hosts.

Rae Rae Messer
Queer · Gender Queer · Gay | They/Them
Rae Rae started doing comedy at Hysteria, Safe Words' free open mic for women and queer performers at the SF Eagle. This is their debut booking, and we're thrilled to debut them. Rae Rae is both terrified and grateful to be alive, and generally trying to stay awake during the middle part of the day after lunch. Trying not to be overwrought by political doom, Rae Rae distracts themself by doing social work by day, and watching Heated Rivalry or the Valkyries while eating comfort cereal at night. Also, they are totally thrilled to be in a Union, and think everyone should try it, at least once.
Lisa Geduldig
Lesbian | She/Her
Lisa Geduldig is a San Francisco-based comedian and the creator, producer, and MC of Kung Pao Kosher Comedy™ — Jewish Comedy on Christmas in a Chinese Restaurant and other shows. Before the pandemic, Lisa had been running Comedy Returns to El Rio, a monthly decade-long comedy show at El Rio in San Francisco where her comedy career began 35+ years ago. From July 2020 until September 2024, Lisa produced the monthly Lockdown Comedy on Zoom from the underwear drawer in the guest room at her mother's retirement community home in Florida, where she accidentally got marooned (in Florida, not in the underwear drawer) for 17 months during the pandemic (and became a fan of the Early Bird special). She commuted between Florida and San Francisco for the next three years. Lisa appeared in a Canadian documentary, Dreaming of a Jewish Christmas, which aired on Canadian and European TV in December 2017. She is also a freelance arts publicist in both English and Spanish.
Jenny Chalikian
Queer · Lesbian | She | HEADLINER
Jenny Chalikian is a Los Angeles-based comedian and freelance writer who started doing comedy in North Carolina. She was a Comic in Residence at The Comedy Studio in Boston, MA, and has headlined at DSI, the Idiot Box, MOTORCO Music Hall, and the Charlotte Comedy Zone. She has also performed several times with the Pink Collar Comedy Tour. With Erin Judge, she co-hosts Romantic Comedy, the monthly comedy showcase at The Ripped Bodice in Los Angeles, and co-created Romantic Comedy: Live at The Ripped Bodice.
Safe Words is San Francisco's longest-running queer comedy showcase, held monthly at The SF Eagle. Each show is carefully curated to highlight both emerging talent and seasoned voices from across the LGBTQ+ spectrum. Our goal is to create a space where queer and trans performers can take the stage without compromise—and where queer audiences feel seen, celebrated, and safe. Bring your people, grab a ticket, and join us at the Eagle for a night built around queer audiences and queer comics doing their best work.
Whether it's your first show or your fiftieth, welcome to the room. We're glad you're here.
