SAN FRANCISCO, CA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, residents should expect critical fire weather conditions to continue this week, according to the National Weather Service.

"Moderate HeatRisk in the interior through Monday with some patches lingering through the next week," NWS San Francisco forecasters wrote Sunday. "Near critical fire weather threat across the interior North and East Bays, and the Diablo and Santa Lucia ranges through Monday with elevated fire weather threat through the week."

In other news, a drowned teen was resuscitated; a firefighter was injured battling a blaze; four firefighters were injured fighting an apartment complex fire; and a man was found dead on a Caltrain platform. Also, human remains, including the body of an infant, were found in different parts of the same county; and a mountain lion was spotted in a Bay Area park.

Plus, nearly 12 million bottles of eye drops sold nationwide, including in California, have been recalled because the products may be unsterile, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
