• California man finds home intruder allegedly firing shotgun at his wife — and ends the threat permanently (theblaze.com) — San Jacinto residents are reeling after a late-night home invasion on Heron Way ended with a homeowner fatally shooting an alleged intruder who was reportedly firing at his wife while their teenage daughter was inside. Deputies say the suspect had earlier assaulted his girlfriend with a knife, and the case is now being reviewed by the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office while neighbors rally support for the family.
