• Stanford Auxiliary Library relocation—Manuscripts (stanford.edu) — A major Stanford archival project includes preserving media from Eimac, a pioneering radio-tube company founded in San Bruno in 1934, highlighting the city's early role in Silicon Valley technology. Archivists are relocating and processing thousands of feet of manuscripts, media, and artifacts from Stanford's SAL2 facility to new storage and workspaces in Livermore and Redwood City, with work expected to continue into 2027.
