• 31-year-old man stabbed to death in San Juan Capistrano (ktla.com) — A 31‑year‑old San Juan Capistrano resident, Valentin Onofre Martinez, died after being found with multiple stab wounds near Calle Santa Barbara and Los Rios Street on Oct. 7. Sheriff's investigators have detained several people but released no suspect details, and they're asking anyone with information to contact OCSD or leave an anonymous tip with OC Crime Stoppers.
