• SMUSD: Measure M in Motion (outlooknewspapers.com) — San Marino families will see big Measure M changes on campus this fall, including a completed turf field at San Marino High School and new playgrounds coming soon to Carver and Valentine. Temporary classrooms at Valentine and SMHS are now in place to prepare for larger construction, with track replacement at the high school pushed to winter break to avoid disrupting fall sports. 
• San Marino Police Sound the Alarm on 'Cash Trapping' (outlooknewspapers.com) — San Marino Police are warning residents about a growing ATM scam called "cash trapping," where thieves block the cash slot so withdrawals are recorded but money never appears. Officers explain how to spot tampered machines, what to do if cash doesn't dispense, and urge anyone victimized at a San Marino bank to contact SMPD immediately.
