Streets Reopened Following Closure Due To Police Activity Near SMC Neighborhood

SAN MATEO, CA — Officials reopened roads that had been previously shut down earlier in the day due to police activity.

At 4:59 p.m., the San Mateo Police Department sent out an update stating they had reopened La Selva Street and Casa de Campo.

The San Mateo Police Department issued the alert around 4:10 p.m., advising motorists to avoid the area near the intersection of La Selva Street and Casa de Campo and to use alternate routes until further notice.

Police have not released details about the incident or said how long the road closures are expected to remain in place.
