*FREE* Cool Summer Jazz Saturdays at the San Ramon Library continues with the Rhonda Benin Blues Band on Saturday, July 18th. The quartet includes: Rhonda Benin vocals, John R. Burr keys, Ron Belcher bass and Leon Joyce Jr. drums.
San Francisco Bay Area vocalist Rhonda Benin has earned a reputation for not just a good voice, but showmanship, magnetic stage personality, humor, and, of course, her great dancing.
“Benin’s got a cool hip vocal with a bit of hush and sugar and an undercurrent of big booming power. She can bend notes with the bass, talk serenade with a piano and steam the kettle from the drum.” Ran Pacifica Tribune
The hour-long performance will be in the upstairs community room at the Library starting at 2 PM. Doors open at 1:30 PM.
The concert is free to the public, but seats fill up fast so get there!
