On Thanksgiving Day, the Bishop Ranch Turkey Trot invites runners, walkers and pets to a chip-timed 5K around Bishop Ranch from 8 to 10 a.m. Registration for the 5K is $45.26, and children under 5 can take part in the 0.05K Tiny Turkey Fun Run. Proceeds from both runs benefit the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano and its work to fight food insecurity across the East Bay.
