• Union Negotiations Resume as Little Lake District Teachers Continue Strike (mynewsla.com) — Teachers in the Little Lake City School District, headquartered in Santa Fe Springs, remain on strike as negotiations with the district resumed Monday and a candlelight vigil was planned outside district offices. The dispute centers on proposed health care cost increases, class sizes, and special education support, with union members also pursuing a recall of all five school board members. The district says it must balance staff needs with long-term financial stability.
