
East County Transitional Living Center (ECTLC), a nonprofit organization providing shelter, work therapy and a faith-based recovery program to help individuals and families transition out of homelessness, invites the public to Recovery Happens, 5 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at its headquarters, 1527 E. Main St.
The event will feature inspirational stories about ECTLC’s program participant’s triumphs over addiction and homelessness.
The evening includes a delicious BBQ meal, opportunity drawings and entertainment.
High Tide Society’s trio, a San Diego band, will play live music, including many hits from the late 1970s and early 1980s, covering songs by Steely Dan, Hall & Oates, Looking Glass, Christopher Cross and many more artists.
