Quokka is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet This Week

She gives kisses.

Quokka is a 2-year-old, 51-pound, female, Husky mix.

She was lost. When nobody claimed her, she was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through Friends of County Animal Shelters - FOCAS.

Quokka will nudge your hand to remind you to pet her. If you let her, she will give kisses. She likes other dogs, but she’s not interested in dog toys.

Special note.

Have a Heart for animals waiting to be adopted at Rancho Coastal Humane Society. “Be My Valentine” runs February 1st through February 28th.

It’s easy and 1, 2, 3.

#1: Pick the pet available for adoption at Rancho Coastal Humane Society

#2: Make a $14 donation for every pet you want to support.

#3: Include a message for the pets you select.

Your heart will be displayed on that pet’s kennel and contribute to their care.

It’s a great way to honor your Valentine and spread love for shelter pets.
