• Filing period to run for STPUD Board begins July 13 (tahoedailytribune.com) — If you’re interested in public service, you can pick up South Tahoe Public Utility District Board candidacy papers by appointment at the El Dorado County office on Ponderosa Road in Shingle Springs. Three board seats are on the November 3, 2026 ballot, and registered voters within the district can file between July 13 and August 7, with a brief extension possible if incumbents don’t file.
