With an acclaimed cast and strong reviews from earlier runs, the intimate 99-seat venue promises a warm, hopeful story about late-blooming love in rural Ireland. Tickets range from $12 to $45.
   

• Brainfeeder's Brandon Coleman trades the Hollywood Bowl for Sierra Madre's smallest stage (localnewspasadena.com) — Sierra Madre Playhouse will host jazz pianist and composer Brandon Coleman on September 6, bringing his Brainfeeder-label sounds to the intimate local stage. Coleman plans a quintet tailored to the small venue, blending film music, jazz fusion, and soulful themes for a close-up concert experience. Tickets are $35 through the Playhouse box office or website.
