As of April 1, midday super off-peak pricing runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays year-round, alongside overnight super off-peak hours, helping residents cut bills while using cleaner, solar-heavy power.
• Sen. Blakespear Names Somos TIAS Senate District 38 Nonprofit of the Year (ca.gov) — A Solana Beach-based nonprofit, Somos TIAS, has been named the 2026 California Nonprofit of the Year for Senate District 38 by Sen. Catherine Blakespear. The all-volunteer group supports immigrant families across North County with legal advocacy, court monitoring, and essential supplies, and will be honored at a state Capitol luncheon in May.
