• Epinephrine Injection Recalled for Lack of Sterility Assurance (hmpgloballearningnetwork.com) — A major drug manufacturer based in South El Monte has voluntarily recalled more than 81,000 units of a critical epinephrine injection because sterility can’t be fully guaranteed. The affected lot, used in hospitals nationwide for emergencies like anaphylaxis and cardiac arrest, could pose a risk of infection, so health providers are being urged to pull it from use and secure replacements immediately.
