Pedestrian Killed In West Rancho Dominguez Crash

WEST RANCHO DOMNIGUEZ, CA — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle Wednesday in West Rancho Dominguez.

The crash was reported about 4:10 a.m. at the intersection of Avalon Boulevard and East 136th Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The victim, described only as a male on a CHP incident log, was pronounced dead at the scene, an officer said.

Los Angeles County medical examiner's office personnel were summoned to the scene.

No road closures associated with the crash were reported, according to the CHP.
