• Arrest made in sexual assault, break-in at Peninsula home (eastbaytimes.com) — South San Francisco police arrested a 30-year-old local man after a woman reported a predawn break-in and sexual assault at her Railroad Avenue home on September 8. The victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, and the suspect now faces attempted murder, rape, and burglary charges while held in county jail. Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact police.
