• Suspect arrested after South San Francisco home intruder sexually assaults resident (kioncentralcoast.com) — Police say a woman was attacked by a home intruder on Railroad Avenue in South San Francisco last week, and a local resident has been arrested on multiple felony charges. Investigators used neighborhood surveillance footage and a search warrant to gather evidence, and they're asking anyone with additional information to contact South San Francisco police.
   

• Redwood City to evaluate mental health crisis response program amid call for second clinician (rwcpulse.com) — A regional study that included South San Francisco found that pairing mental health clinicians with police reduced involuntary psychiatric detentions by about 16.5%, or 370 fewer holds over two years.
