• Suspect Arrested Following Fatal Shooting and Gambling House Discovery (crimevoice.com) — Deputies are investigating a fatal shooting after finding a 37-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound near Main Street and Pacific Street in Stanton earlier this month. The case led investigators to an illegal gambling house nearby, where about 50 people were detained and several machines seized. A 43-year-old Fullerton man known to the victim was later arrested on suspicion of homicide.
