• Alpenglow Sports is accepting Winter Speaker Series Nonprofit Beneficiary Applications for 2026/27 Season (sierrasun.com) — Nonprofits based in or serving the Tahoe City area can apply June 1–30 to become one of two new beneficiaries of Alpenglow Sports’ 2026–27 Winter Speaker Series, with potential support topping $100,000 each. Selected groups gain major funding, marketing exposure, and two years of partnership in a long-running North Tahoe community tradition that has already raised millions for local causes.

The group’s new videos offer rare, intimate views of Tahoe bears while reminding homeowners to secure crawl spaces and respect these animals’ space as they reenter the world after hibernation.
