Cypress Mandela Training Center offers a no tuition, 16-week pre-apprenticeship program for Bay Area residents ages 18 and older. This program is both hands-on and in the classroom. Students will be prepared for skilled trades jobs that are relevant to today’s construction industry.
The next program begins in August. For those interested, the next orientation is July 2nd at 9 AM. For Union City residents (ages 18-24), after completion of the program there is a possibility of securing a paid construction internship with Lennar.
Enrollment in Cypress Mandela Training Center requires the following:
- Birth Certificate or Passport or Permanent Resident Card
- Valid California Driver’s License or ID
- High School Diploma or GED or Transcript
- Social Security Card
- Current DMV printout
