10th Anniversary Of Temecula 'Digifest' Film Festival: What To Know When You Go
The Temecula festival focuses on aspiring artists, filmmakers, storytellers and tech innovators to spark new ideas and build connections.
TEMECULA, CA — The 10th anniversary of DigiFest Temecula is planned in April, bringing content creators, artists, entrepreneurs and entertainment industry professionals together as they focus on storytelling and digital expression. Tickets are still available for the three-day event scheduled for April 24-26 at JDS Studio in Temecula, located at 28069 Diaz Road, Suite D, E, F.
Digifest— hosted by locally owned JDS Creative Academy— features screenings, live entertainment, keynote presentations, networking opportunities, multimedia exhibits, and other activities related to film, video, music, animation, design and digital media. It's considered Temecula's "Creative Celebration of the year," organizers say.

- Wendee Lee, director, writer, and voice actress with roles in "Cowboy Bebop," "Akira," "Dragonball" and "Sailor Moon." She adapted the first episode of "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners."
- Colin Egglesfield, actor from "Backtrace," "Something Borrowed," "Melrose Place," and named one of People Magazine's "Sexiest Men Alive."
- Curtis Young, rapper, performer, and entrepreneur.
- Justin Guarini, Broadway actor ("Wicked," "Once Upon a Mattress" and "One More Time") and American Idol Season 1 finalist.
- Davin Lindwall, film producer, "Green and Gold."
- Sam Larsen, actor and musician ("Glee").
- Kim Walsh Phillips, business and marketing strategist.

Attendees will have access to screenings, an award presentation, networking sessions, live music, and experiences featuring Temecula's wine, spirits, and food.

This year's creative themes have emerged with diversity and social impact, according to a recent news release.
"Many creators are focusing on social impact, inclusivity and stories that amplify diverse voices. Others are experimenting with new ways of combining technology and art to tell stories in immersive and interactive formats," the release stated. "From documentaries that inspire change to animation that experiments with new visual styles, DigiFest reflects the evolving landscape of digital arts. These trends provide inspiration for anyone looking to create meaningful and impactful work."
