Apartment Fire In Temecula Displaces 3, Damages 14 Units: Cal Fire

The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the displaced residents.

TEMECULA, CA — Firefighters knocked down a blaze Wednesday night that left three people displaced and multiple units damaged, fire officials said.

Around 9:13 p.m., fire crews responded to the blaze reported at a three-story building in the 27200 block of Nicolas Road, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

The agency said the fire was contained to a stove in a unit on the third floor, and three units at the building sustained major damage. Fourteen of the units were affected by water damage, fire officials said.

One man and two women were displaced by the blaze. The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the displaced residents, fire officials said.

Two residents were evaluated at the scene but refused further treatment. No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
