AGUANGA, CA — Fire crews are battling a brush fire that charred about 10 acres Thursday afternoon just south of Highway 371 in Aguanga, fire officials said.

The blaze was reported just after 12 p.m. near Highway 371 and Wilson Valley Road, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

The agency said multiple ground and air resources responded to the location and encountered flames moving at a moderate rate through medium vegetation.
