Deputies Conducting E-Moto Enforcement In Temecula (patch.com) — Temecula residents are being warned to follow the rules as Riverside County Sheriff's deputies step up enforcement on electric motorcycles, or e-Motos, around town. Recent operations led to 13 citations, towed e-Motos and pocket bikes, and safety talks with minors and parents. Officials stress that higher-powered bikes without pedals are classified as electric motorcycles, requiring a valid license to ride on public roads.
   

2. Valley of the Mist Quilters Guild to present outdoor quilt show in Old Town Temecula (pressenterprise.com) — Old Town Temecula will be filled with hundreds of colorful quilts on Oct. 3, when the Valley of the Mist Quilters Guild hosts its outdoor show in partnership with the city. Along with a live auction and boutique at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater, residents can also catch an art quilt exhibit at Grace Mellman Library and attend the guild's monthly meetings at City Hall.
   

3. 4 Inland Empire Starbucks Stores To Permanently Close This Weekend (patch.com) — A Starbucks at 29588 Rancho California Road in Temecula is set to close permanently after business hours this weekend, part of a larger wave of company shutdowns. The move affects employees who may be transferred or left uncertain about future jobs, while Temecula customers will need to shift to other nearby locations.
