Jury reaches verdict in Rebecca Grossman, Scott Erickson trial (vcstar.com) — A civil jury has awarded the Iskander family $176 million after finding both Rebecca Grossman and Scott Erickson negligent in the 2020 Westlake Village crosswalk deaths of brothers Mark and Jacob Iskander; Jacob later died at a Thousand Oaks hospital. The verdict follows Grossman’s earlier murder conviction and prison sentence. Erickson’s criminal reckless driving case was previously dismissed after judicial diversion.
