• Joshua Tree National Park seeking AmeriCorps Scientists-in-Parks position; apply by Sunday (6/14) (z1077fm.com) — A new AmeriCorps Scientists-in-Parks position based at Joshua Tree National Park’s headquarters on National Park Drive in Twentynine Palms is open now, with priority given to applications submitted by Sunday, June 14. The 21‑week role runs from October 7, 2026 to February 20, 2027, coordinating volunteer projects like native plant restoration, trail work, and habitat recovery, and includes a weekly stipend and education award.
