2. Carjacking (northcountydailystar.com) ā A man has been arrested after an April 8 carjacking in a Vista parking lot where a woman was thrown from a moving car and a man was run over, suffering major injuries. Vista Fire Department crews rushed the victim to Palomar Hospital, and Vista deputies later tracked down the suspect, who now faces carjacking and assault with a deadly weapon charges as detectives continue seeking additional information.

If your home is on a timeāofāuse plan, youāre automatically shifted to these updated periods, giving you more flexibility to run appliances or charge EVs when power is cheaper and cleaner.

4. San Diego Padres help Rancho Bernardo woman celebrate her 108th birthday (sandiegouniontribune.com) ā A longtime Padres fan who once lived in Vista just celebrated her 108th birthday with a team-themed party at Silvergate Rancho Bernardo, complete with gifts from the ballclub. She and her husband moved to Vista in 1976, and she later spent years at Arcadia Place Senior Living in Vista before needing more care, all while staying active and devoted to baseball.
