• Walnut Creek Eyes Millions For Electric Vehicles: Report (patch.com) — Walnut Creek officials are weighing an extra $5.6 to $6.7 million over 14 years to convert the city's 175-vehicle fleet to electric, in line with state clean-fleet rules and local climate goals. The draft Electric Vehicle Strategic Plan includes major upgrades to charging at the Heather Farm and Lawrence Way corp yards and a push to expand and better manage public charging options across town.
