• Families turn out for discounted opening day of Santa Cruz County Fair (santacruzsentinel.com) — The Santa Cruz County Fair is underway at the Watsonville fairgrounds, with admission just $2.50 this year in honor of America's 250th birthday and a packed schedule through Sunday. Local leaders, volunteers, and families celebrated opening day with patriotic ceremonies, roaming entertainers, livestock exhibits, and plenty of rides and food, all highlighting Pajaro Valley's agricultural roots and community spirit.

(pajaronian.com) — The Santa Cruz County Fair is now open at the Watsonville fairgrounds, offering rides, food, and a full slate of entertainment through Sunday.
