Watsonville's second skatepark ramping up (pajaronian.com) — A new 8,000-square-foot skatepark is under construction near Pinto Lake County Park, set to become Watsonville's second skatepark and the only county-owned facility of its kind in the area. PVUSD candidate Curt Wilcox arrested on felony charges (pajaronian.com) — A candidate for the Pajaro Valley Unified School District's Area 5 trustee seat, which serves Watsonville-area families, has been arrested on felony counts tied to his candidacy paperwork, including perjury and improper voter registration. Officials say Curt Wilcox was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail on $30,000 bail, while prosecutors and election staff have not yet detailed exactly what triggered the charges.
