• West Hollywood could get a massive new development with 107,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and a nearly 100-foot digital billboard (secretlosangeles.com) — A major commercial project called Robertson Row could significantly reshape Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood, replacing a planned hotel with 107,000 square feet of shops, restaurants, wellness spaces and galleries around the historic Factory nightclub. The proposal includes four low-rise buildings, extensive outdoor areas, 303 underground parking spaces, and a nearly 100-foot digital billboard now under staff review before heading to the City Council.
   

• Sponge Share New Single and Announce Final Studio Album (ghostcultmag.com) — Alternative rock band Sponge is releasing its final studio album on October 2 and will bring its farewell-era tour to West Hollywood's Troubadour on September 30. Local rock fans can expect a raw, no‑Auto‑Tune set drawn from the new record and decades of material as the Detroit veterans close a long studio career on the road.
