Longtime WeHo government affairs liaison Molina retires - Beverly Press & Park Labrea News (beverlypress.com) — West Hollywood's longtime government affairs liaison, Hernan Molina, will retire on Aug. 31 after 25 years of service to the city he's called home since 1992. The city will begin recruiting a replacement this fall, with Andi Lovano overseeing government affairs in the interim.

Street Preacher Attacked in West Hollywood (wehoonline.com) — A street preacher was recently assaulted near the rainbow crosswalk at Santa Monica and San Vicente in West Hollywood's Rainbow District, prompting questions about free speech, harassment, and safety. The article recounts the ministry's clash with deputies over noise rules, notes similar confrontational visits by a right‑wing influencer, and reminds residents they can document incidents, call the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station, or dial 911 in emergencies.
