• K-9 takes down suspect after chase leads to standoff on street in Westminster (abc7.com) — A police chase tied to a reported carjacking ended in a tense standoff near Goldenwest Street and Garden Grove Boulevard in Westminster, where a K-9 brought down the uncooperative suspect. The 33-year-old Garden Grove man was treated for minor injuries, and no officers or the dog were hurt, after the pursuit that began on the 22 Freeway Wednesday morning.
