• Testimony Starts in Trial of Felons Accused of Killing Carjacking Victim (mynewsla.com) — A deadly 2024 truck theft spree that began at a Woodcrest property is now at the center of a Riverside County murder trial, with testimony underway this week. Prosecutors say two Perris men stole a pickup in Woodcrest, then allegedly carjacked another truck in Mead Valley, where its owner was fatally shot after giving chase.
