• Felony Charges Expected Against Motorist Suspected of Killing Motorcyclist (mynewsla.com) — A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday night at Van Buren Boulevard and Porter Avenue in Woodcrest when a car allegedly rear-ended his stopped Harley and pushed it into another vehicle. Prosecutors are expected to file felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter charges Friday against the arrested driver, who investigators say was under the influence but did not flee the scene. 
• Deliberations Underway in Trial of Pair Accused of Killing Carjack Victim (mynewsla.com) — Jurors are deliberating in the murder trial of two Perris men accused of stealing a truck from a Woodcrest property, then allegedly killing a Mead Valley man who tried to confront them. Proceedings are on hold until June 29, while both defendants remain jailed without bail as they face multiple felony and firearm-related charges.
