• Battle of the Badges Blood Drive Set for June 16 and 25 (territorialdispatch.com) — Yuba City residents can donate blood and back their favorite first responders at the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive on June 16 and 25, 3–7 p.m., at Poole Boulevard and Civic Center Boulevard. Hosted by the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office and Yuba City Police Department, all donations stay in the region to help local patients and families.
   

• Missing at-risk Yuba City man found, arrested on suspicion of causing bodily harm (sacbee.com) — A 23-year-old Yuba City man previously reported missing was located and arrested after an altercation at a local McDonald’s left another employee with serious burn injuries. Yuba City police sought a felony battery warrant, and Sutter County deputies arrested him Sunday night near Highway 99. The injured worker was taken to a Sacramento County hospital for treatment.
