Sales and listings also slipped, even as nearby cities such as Longmont, Fort Collins, and Greeley saw flatter or slightly rising prices. Buyers and sellers in Boulder may be entering a very different market this fall.

Dark Horse restaurant demolition begins after 50 years in Boulder (denvergazette.com) — Crews have started demolishing Boulder's World Famous Dark Horse, the quirky bar and restaurant near CU's campus that anchored local nightlife for more than 50 years. The site is being cleared for a mixed-use development, while owners plan a new Dark Horse location in Louisville. Former staff and regulars are gathering outside the old building to say goodbye.
