Broomfield Days logo's retro style harkens back to city's early days (broomfieldenterprise.com) — Broomfield's 2026 Broomfield Days logo leans into a retro, flower-power look that celebrates the city's "Growing together since 1961" roots. Designed by Broomfield library clerk and artist Liz Carney, the logo will appear across city promotional materials and around the community during the festival.
   

2. Boulder County Launches Safe Streets for Students Planning Effort (bouldercounty.gov) — A new Safe Streets for Students initiative will shape safer walking, biking, and rolling routes to BVSD and SVVSD schools, including those in Broomfield, through 2027. Funded partly by the City and County of Broomfield, the project will create detailed safety plans for 5–10 priority schools and a toolkit all local schools can use, with surveys, virtual events, and pop‑ups inviting your input.
   

3. AASHTO Journal - Colorado DOT Officially Opens Fourth I-25 'Mobility Hub' (transportation.org) — Broomfield-area commuters now have easier access to regional buses with the opening of CDOT's new I‑25/CO 7 mobility hub near Thornton and Broomfield, linking Bustang routes to local transit systems. The hub adds parking, safer bus ramps, a pedestrian bridge, bike storage, and improved signals, making it simpler to connect Broomfield with Boulder, Brighton, and other Front Range destinations.
   

4. Boulder, Broomfield and Longmont football scores and highlights for Week 4 (About Last Night) (broomfieldenterprise.com) — Broomfield football fans can celebrate a 50–0 shutout of Denver East that keeps the Eagles undefeated at 4–0 heading into a Thursday road game at Denver South. The roundup also tracks how nearby programs like Holy Family, Legacy, Longmont, and Monarch fared in Week 4, with records and next opponents for each.
   

5. More than $13M in new funding supports conservation stewardship for Colorado farmers and ranchers (journal-advocate.com) — Announced from Broomfield's Department of Agriculture has secured $13.7 million in federal funding to help farmers and ranchers adopt soil‑health and water‑saving practices while accessing new markets. The money will flow through existing state grant programs over two years, supporting conservation‑minded producers across Colorado and reinforcing Broomfield's role as a hub for statewide agricultural policy.
