ā¢ Smoke spewing from Commerce City Suncor refinery (9news.com) ā Smoke from a safety flare at Suncorās Commerce City refinery may remain visible for several days after an electrical issue forced part of the plant to shut down, but state monitors report pollution levels remain low and below health guidelines. Colorado health officials say some emissions briefly exceeded permit limits and will keep tracking air quality as a federal court weighs whether to revive a pollution lawsuit over the refineryās impacts on nearby Commerce City residents.
