1. Depaul USA opens Denver home for college students experiencing homelessness (denver7.com) — College students in Denver facing homelessness now have a new option in the Capitol West neighborhood, where Depaul USA's DAX Denver house will provide low-cost housing and support services for 15 students. Partnering first with Regis University and MSU Denver, the program offers case management, internships, workshops, and on-site resources to help students stay in school and transition to stable housing.
   

2. Denver's 2026 Supplier Opportunity Fair Connects Local Suppliers (denvergov.org) — Denver's General Services team just relaunched its Supplier Opportunity Fair, drawing more than 60 local vendors to the Webb building to connect directly with city buyers. If you run or work with a Denver business, this event's new format is meant to simplify how you navigate city procurement and build relationships with departments like DIA, Transportation & Infrastructure, Parks & Recreation, and more.
   

3. Boettcher makeover is a go. The Colorado Symphony is on the go. (denvergazette.com) — Denver's Boettcher Concert Hall is set for a $120 million renovation, backed largely by city funding and voter-approved bonds, which will modernize acoustics, seating, and accessibility. The Colorado Symphony will spend about 15 months performing around Denver and across Colorado during construction, aiming to reach new audiences while keeping all musicians and staff employed.
   

4. Driverless Waymo tries to drive through Denver street construction near Sloan's Lake (denverpost.com) — A driverless Waymo car tried to enter a resurfacing zone in Denver's West Colfax neighborhood near Sloan's Lake, stopping at cones and workers without causing damage. The incident, following another Waymo misstep at the South Pearl Street farmers market, has Denver transportation officials planning talks with the company about how the vehicles interpret local street conditions.
   

5. Painting Classes Denver: Ceramic Plates & Bowls (feverup.com) — Denver residents can sign up now for a December ceramic painting class at the Homewood Suites by Denver International Airport, where participants decorate plates or bowls with guided instruction. The 2.5-hour sessions include Turkish tea and treats, are open to ages 8 and up with supervision, and let you take home a finished, food-safe keepsake.
