• Inside the Broncos' Land Acquisition in the North End of Denver (townsquarenoco.com) — The Denver Broncos have secured another nearly 10 acres in Burnham Yard, moving their proposed new stadium and mixed-use district a step closer to reality in Denver's north end. With most key parcels now under contract, remaining hurdles include Denver Water's relocation, a community benefits agreement, a small area plan vote, and environmental cleanup before construction can start by 2027.
   

• Man sentenced to 442 years in prison for drug trafficking (denvergazette.com) — A massive narcotics case centered in Denver just ended with a 442-year prison sentence for a man whose operation spanned homes across Denver, Adams and Arapahoe counties. Denver police seized large quantities of drugs and firearms, and the Denver District Attorney's Office says the unusually long sentence is meant to send a strong message about trafficking in the metro area.
