Dillon approves funds for business incentive program (summitdaily.com) — Dillon Town Council has set aside $45,000 for a new business incentive program aimed at filling vacant storefronts in the town core, plus funding new lights at the Dillon Amphitheater and concerts at the marina tiki bar. The vacancy-reduction grants, ranging from $3,000 to $12,000, will be supported by a $61,000 transfer from the town’s parking fund, using essentially all projected 2026 parking revenue.

Dillon Town Council identifies priorities for economic development committee (summitdaily.com) — Dillon officials and the town’s Economic Advisory Committee are narrowing priorities to better support local businesses, from improved signage and grant writing to boosting winter economic activity. Leaders are also weighing ideas like a hybrid Dillon Urban Renewal Authority board and replacing the blank east-entrance sign, with the committee expected to report back to council in July.
   

4. Quick thinking helps stop small roadside fire as parts of Colorado enter high fire danger (cbsnews.com) — A small roadside fire near Dillon was quickly stomped out by a Summit County resident and a few passersby, but it’s a warning sign for locals. Summit County has already moved into “High” fire danger, with officials saying conditions are as dry as early July in a typical year. Residents around Dillon are urged to stay vigilant, especially near power lines and dry vegetation.
   

5. Mumford in Boulder: England will win World Cup (denvergazette.com) — Music fans in Dillon can look forward to Sierra Ferrell headlining the Dillon Amphitheater on August 11, part of a summer tour announced after her recent Boulder appearance with Mumford & Sons.
