Police leaders say the technology is crucial for documenting encounters, preserving evidence, and maintaining accountability, with higher annual costs built into future town budgets starting in 2027.

ā¢ Estes Park Sends Alert To Residents Over Aggressive Elk (k99.com) ā Estes Park officials recently sent an alert after an aggressive cow elk protecting her newborn injured a man, underscoring the risks of calving season around town. Residents and visitors are urged to give elk a wide berth, stay aware when walking outside, and follow National Park Service guidance to remain at least 75 feet away from the animals, even on downtown streets.
