• Conifer's Long Dog Derby benefits mental health services (canyoncourier.com) — Conifer’s Aspen Park Community Center will host the Long Dog Derby on May 2, a playful dachshund and small-dog race fundraiser for foothills mental health services. Inspired by Evergreen’s Oktoberfest dog races, the event will feature Kentucky Derby viewing, a best hat contest, and local food and drinks. Proceeds support All Access Wellness, which helps residents afford therapy when insurance falls short.
