• CBI: Woman who called 911 says she shot man in self-defense (kdvr.com) — A state-led investigation is underway after a man was fatally shot in Florence on Saturday, April 11, with the woman involved telling authorities she acted in self-defense. Florence police, Fremont County deputies, and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation are examining what happened on Railroad Avenue, and no charging decision has been made yet.
