Toy, game and puzzle library gives broken toys a second life (9news.com) — Right inside Foothills Mall, Fort Collins’ Toy, Game, and Puzzle Library is giving broken toys a second life through its new Project RePlay repair and refurbishment initiative. Supported by a Colorado Circular Communities grant, volunteers fix donated items, 3D-print replacement parts, and host hands-on workshops so families can learn to repair their own toys instead of tossing them.

See photos from Fort Collins fires near Fort Fun, Lee Martinez Park (coloradoan.com) — Photos capture yesterday’s brush fires burning near Fort Fun, Lee Martinez Park, and Salyer Natural Area in Fort Collins, along the Poudre River. Images show smoke over popular recreation spots, firefighters drawing water from the river, trail closures with police tape, and crews cutting and clearing brush as they worked multiple fire scenes around town.
   

3. Bennet Leads Colorado Democratic Delegation to Demand Information on U.S. Forest Service Reorganization (senate.gov) — Fort Collins is singled out as a new USDA hub in a letter where Sen. Michael Bennet and Colorado Democrats press for details on a major U.S. Forest Service reorganization. They ask how moving staff, including from Lakewood to Fort Collins, will affect wildfire mitigation, staffing, and services that impact Colorado communities.

Check out these Fort Collins summer festivals (coloradoan.com) — Fort Collins residents have a full slate of summer festivals lined up, from Juneteenth at Foothills mall and Beer Week’s finale at The Drake Centre to the Fringe Festival, Art Festival, Peach Festival and Colorado Turkish Festival. Most events are free or low-cost, feature local food, art, or beer, and run from mid-June through mid-August at familiar Fort Collins parks, streets and venues.
   

5. Old Town Library Concert Brings Strings to Fort Collins (northfortynews.com) — Fort Collins families can catch a free Dali String Quartet concert at Library Park on Monday, June 15, from 10 to 11 a.m. as part of the Old Town Library Summer Concert Series. Organizers encourage you to bring blankets or chairs, let kids move and dance, and enjoy a relaxed outdoor kickoff to the Music Spoke 2026 season downtown.
