• New Colorado School of Mines students bring a piece of home for annual M Climb (cbsnews.com) — First-year Colorado School of Mines students just completed the beloved M Climb up Mount Zion, hauling rocks from their hometowns to refresh the giant "M" that overlooks Golden. Wearing hard hats, singing the fight song, and whitewashing the symbol, they formally joined a tradition that has linked new Orediggers to the community since 1908.

Went out around 4 am to let my Black Border Collie mix out to pee, stood by the screen door and she came running around the corner followed by a big… (Nextdoor Golden) - Bobcat on Kinney Run Trail this morning (just now) on the last leg before you get to Apex Park.
