• Body found in Grand Junction; death being investigated as 'suspicious' (kktv.com) — Law enforcement is investigating a suspicious death after a body was found Wednesday morning in an open area near 32 Road and C Road in Grand Junction. Mesa County Sheriff's deputies confirmed the person was deceased and called in investigators, while the coroner will determine cause of death and release the identity after notifying family. Authorities say more information will come as appropriate.

• Plane diverted to Grand Junction airport after passenger medical emergency (kkco11news.com) — A commercial flight from Fort Worth to Spokane made an unscheduled landing at Grand Junction Regional Airport after a passenger suffered a medical emergency Thursday morning. Grand Junction Fire Department crews transported the individual to a local hospital before the plane continued its trip. The report also highlights the airport's role as the Western Slope's largest hub, with direct flights to six major cities.
